Under the supervision of the Practice Lead, the Nurse Client Advocate (NCA) devotes his/her best efforts to growing, building, and maintaining the services of PyxisCare Management. The NCA coordinates all aspects of a client’s needs (medical, environmental, psycho-social, financial, and legal) with the intention of improving overall health and wellbeing and to achieve the optimal quality of life for the client.
The Role of an NCA is typically a trained and licensed Nurse who “Guides the Way” for PyxisCare clients in their pursuit of exceptional health and healthcare. This role encompasses not only clinical expertise, but also through continuing client relationships, communication, availability, information, and resource management with the client.
PyxisCare does not provide traditional nursing services, but takes a consultative, multi-disciplinary approach to our clients. As our services are needed by those in urban and rural settings, day travel is expected. We also work with many different types of clients, varying ages, conditions, and socioeconomic status. A successful candidate will be able to effectively navigate and communicate with all types of people.

Our Relationship Managers develop new customers, manage a book of business, and coordinate with PyxisCare Nurse Client Advocates and Client Service Coordinators to create the best health and well-being outcomes for our clients. This position combines entrepreneurial opportunity with the structure and security of a respected name in affluent-market services. Your schedule will be self-managed, though coordinated with executive leadership. As a PyxisCare Management Relationship Manager, your challenge is to grow the health and well-being advocacy relationships for a targeted group of sophisticated customers, through consultative selling and exceptional customer care. Your business development and prospecting skills will play a key role in attracting new relationships, while partnership with our Care Management team will enable the service that retains and grows them.
A Relationship Manager (RM) has responsibility for growing and maintaining a consultative relationship practice focused on Healthcare Advocacy. Typical activities for an RM include:
• Identifying organizations with needs for advocacy services.
• Creating business relationships with decision makers within those organizations.
• Identifying opportunities to provide professionals as consultants or contractors.
• Developing on-going professional relationships with the local professionals.
• Participating in local professional organizations.
A major component of the RM’s job is to develop new business, manage on-going client relationships, and be a brand ambassador.
